PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Before joining Insigniam, Dean enjoyed a successful twenty-year career as a litigation attorney. His expertise was in contracting, insurance coverage, product liability, and medical negligence. During his legal career, Dean litigated hundreds of cases and tried numerous cases to conclusion before jury panels in a variety of jurisdictions. He was a key player in several complex litigation matters, involving General Motors, Suzuki Motors, several product manufacturers, as well as, many insurance companies, including Allstate, State Farm, Nationwide, and Geico. His work was national in scope, and he remains a member in good standing of the Federal bar and multiple State bars.
Other noteworthy experience includes:
- Member of the Bars of Pennsylvania and New Jersey
- Member of the Bars of the U.S. District Courts of Pennsylvania and New Jersey; the U.S. Court of Appeals, Third District; and the United States Supreme Court
- Editor of the Syracuse Journal of International Law and Commerce, 1985-86
- Member of the Board of Governors of the Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Association
- Clerk to the Honorable Richard B. Klein, current justice on the Pennsylvania Superior Court

DEAN AFTER WORK
Dean deeply values family and education. Dean is inspired by the gift of contributing to and making a difference with his sons, Dylan age 9 and Justin age 6. Dean is also active in alumni activities with his three-time alma mater, Syracuse University. In his spare time Dean can be found on the golf course or enjoying live music and occasionally playing his guitar and trumpet recreationally.
