Jane Wang-Wesley
"I am energized by working with people who step beyond the familiar, venture into unknown territories, and aim for much higher levels of accomplishment that are difficult to grasp by themselves, people who walk their dreams."
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
For twenty years, Jane has been coaching individuals and consulting organizations to lift work performances to unprecedented levels while working with global companies in resolving long-term issues of effective communication, alignment, and sales growth.
By example, Jane was on a team that turned around an unsuccessful joint venture formulation in Shanghai, between two major petroleum companies, one Western and one Chinese; she was the designated coach for the Chief Executive Officer of the subsequently formed JV company and the team supported the new entity until it was on track with its incorporated operations.
Jane led a team that consulted a Chicago Public School that had been under-performing for decades. After working with the students for three months, they achieved a 25% increase on their IL state exam; previously the highest increase on record with full-out effort was 1%.
Prior to entering the field of business, Jane taught biology at the City University of New York and was voted by the students as the best instructor of the year.
Other professional experience includes:
Entrepreneurial experience as the managing partner of a seafood manufacturing and processing company
Owner and operator of a remodeling firm providing high-end residential and commercial properties with design, installation, and other construction services
Jane was considered the most sought after research assistant while working at the Bronx Botanical Garden research lab in New York, in the field of Plant Development
Other noteworthy experience includes:
Jane had been a major contributor and project leader for a United Nation accredited NGO that has an outstanding track record of empowering and training people in areas where hunger persists. She was the leader of a team that master-minded and produced in Beijing, China a well-attended and well-received global live satellite downlink and public event, directly from New York City, in 1988 - a highly unusual occasion in any communist country at the time.
