PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Prior to joining Insigniam Performance, Joan was Director of HSBC investment banking, a major investment bank in Hong Kong. She was responsible for their media and entertainment practice, advising multi-nationals in acquisition, and local enterprises in accessing capital market and strategic financing. In her advisory capacity, Joan assisted the first joint-venture formation of an international outdoor advertising company in China. She was also a financial advisor and project consultant for the launch of a Mainland Chinese satellite channel, a breakthrough in a highly regulated industry, which led to the public listing of its commercial associate on the London AIM. Joan advised many private entrepreneurs in China in their financial and strategic business development.
In addition, Joan's experience extends to the rest of Asia, advising, structuring and concluding transactions in the telecommunications, consumer, and power industries.

She enjoys spending time with her friends discussing social trends and incubating new content and commercial possibilities.
