PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Prior to working for Insigniam, Kumar was a Project Manager in the Business IT department at First American Corporation. He managed the development and implementation of data integration with the country’s largest mortgage lenders, providing title insurance and related information products. He also worked at Shortcuts Software as the Enterprise Project Manager. At Shortcuts Software, Kumar managed the largest national accounts of multi-site chains and supported these enterprises in maintaining client relationships. He also managed projects for these clients, including software implementation, training, and customization.

With an advanced degree in the sciences, Kumar is particularly skilled in distilling complex issues and systems into simple and concise terms and distinctions, allowing for deep insight and power. His experience in teaching and training has also contributed greatly to his ability to communicate difficult and technical concepts to a lay audience.

Throughout his career in information technology, Kumar became keenly aware that the effective operation of a company has as much to do with how people work together, as it does with appropriately designed IT systems.

KUMAR AFTER WORK

Kumar’s daughter, Alexandra, is 10 years old and lives in the same town where he works. She has a number of developmental disabilities and has achieved much more than what the doctors said she would when she was born. His daughter inspires him, through her determination to express herself and develop her skills, as well as in her capacity to be light-hearted and loving under all circumstances.

Kumar’s personal passions are live and electronic music, sciences, cutting-edge technologies, and learning about large-scale sociological and economic trends.
