PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Marie-Caroline brings two decades of corporate experience to her consulting at Insigniam Performance. The majority of her corporate career was with L'Oreal, the number-one cosmetic company in the world, where she addressed a variety of business issues through her work as an internal consultant, financial controller, as well as an executive in the French operations and international positions. Marie-Caroline was appointed to set up the international financial control of a new brand, working with multicultural teams in a division where all previous decisions had been centralized. Later she was promoted to Vice President of Finance for the Professional Products Division in France and led cross-functional projects, transforming the business process.
Other exciting and noteworthy professional experience includes:
- Leading the successful integration of Redken by acquiring and buying out key distributors
- Ensuring that all business units in her division delivered on projected annual profits at L'Oréal Europe
- Consulting for a large retail business on strategy implementation that reinvigorated the sales team by establishing a unique European brand

MARIE-CAROLINE AFTER WORK
Marie-Caroline loves to travel and thrives in international environments, having lived in the United States and Gemany when she was young. She first lived abroad when she was six years old, and attended international schools through the end of high school. She hiked through China and India for six months in 1986, which was the first year China opened up to backpackers. Marie-Caroline shares her passion for travel with her husband, Gerard, and three boys, Paul, Louis, and Alexis, with whom she lives in Toulouse, France. Marie also loves cycling, skiing, theater, and dance.
