Suzanne M. Grugan
"The best part of my job is the chance to work with highly committed, passionate, and accomplished people who want to achieve a greater level of performance and contribute to the organizations for which they work."
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Suzanne has been associated with Insigniam Performance since 1993, first as a client and now as a consultant. She brings a wealth of industry knowledge in insurance, real estate, financial services, and the public sector, with over 25 years of experience in operations management.
Prior to joining Insigniam, Suzanne was a senior executive for an insurance and financial services company with $7.1 billion in assets. Her work with organizational restructuring, process reengineering, productivity improvements, cost containment, and high-performance teams has earned ongoing recognition. Appointed to serve as the Deputy Director of the Mayor's Private Sector Task Force on Management and Productivity, Suzanne worked closely with then-mayor Ed Rendell and the top 42 CEOs in Philadelphia business, and recruited and managed 300 loaned business executives. She then personally directed management reviews by these executives of all city government agencies and activities. The Task Force found ways to increase revenue opportunities for the City of Philadelphia by $300 million, as well as to offset expenditures for upgrading a state-of-the-art information services organization for the operations of city government.
